Be sure that the audio on the shot (or as a global input) is enabled. Seriously though, throw a quick video up onto YouTube as unlisted just taken with your phone so we can see what you mean and possibly find a hint to what is missing.

All the power too you, but people will crank it up and you'll have their noise floor.

Professional equipment should be closer to 0 but often viewers don't get that they shouldn't need to maximize the volume in those platforms but standard practice has taught them otherwise.Ĭlear and loud. The lines in Wirecast should be reaching around -12db to -6db to get a decent audio level comparable to most other people on Facebook or Twitch. UltraStudio supports built in down conversion so you can send. This saves costs on installing multiple routers because a single SDI router can handle all of the signal types. I find that Wirecast shows a lot more compressed audio then OBS does since it uses the logarithmic visualization of audio vs the OBS one of a linear line which while does show more activity, it doesn't mean you have more audio. UltraStudio is perfect for use with routers because they include support for video, multi channel audio, timecode and closed caption data all down the single SDI cable. It may be that the input level is low on the camera.

I will look to see if I can find out how to revert to the previous version of OBS. I can view with the Blackjack app, so the camera is fine. No video picture shows on the OBS screen. Of course not a satisfying solution as the performance gain is.

My temporary solution: Open Premiere in Rosetta, then it will see the Ultrastudio as a video playback option again. Audio device detected, but no video device. First, open the Blackmagic Media Express and show the audio coming in on channels 1 and 2 (bottom left of app in the capture pane), then open Wirecast, add the input and show the audio channels there. Having the same problem after the OBS update. Works great in Resolve, but not in Premiere at all. Best option is to do a quick video with your phone and post that.
